Every published website fact includes a named source. We aim to use original research, museums, universities and other authoritative sources, alongside reputable reporting. The wording should match the evidence and retain important qualifications.

Two kinds of facts

Our videos contain five facts. The two daily website wild facts are additional exclusives. Video fact explanations enter the website archive 30 days after the video’s release; that delay does not apply to website exclusives.
